Because I respirator mask anywhere indoors outside of my own home, I keep myself safer. I'm also one less person spreading airborne viruses to you.

I've watched science and public health collide in real time, from COVID to polluted air in South Bay San Diego. People deserve to understand the science shaping their lives, and a voice in the solutions. I'm thinking about a podcast built on that. Would you listen? What would make you tune in?
Show PostYou have identified the problem correctly. You barely think about it anymore. So someone else has to, and those someones else bring differing epistemological perspectives to the table from the one that was compatible with your abandonment of the issue.
Show Post“In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment & counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back to a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.” IT SAVES PUBLIC MONEY to house people.

Better to isolate everyone individually at a safe central isolation facility near a tertiary hospital with resources to care for any who might fall ill.
