on October 14, a black bear entered the Mammoth Lakes Library at 6 am. it was the 100th anniversary of the publication of Winnie-the-Pooh. the bear went directly to the employees' food supplies. i know what you're thinking. the answer is yes. he ate a pot of honey. this was a pilgrimage.

...but putting their handy little explanation that a trans woman is a 'biological male' who 'identifies' as a woman, and suddenly the reality of so many trans women's lives and healthcare needs - not to mention safety, privacy, and dignity - completely erased. Entirely divorced from reality.
