i don't like to get on a ramble and whine about things at all but like. i've wanted to (personally) permanently halt croissant's development multiple times these past couple months just because i knew it'd come out, it'd be seen as "yet another one of these things" and that'd be it's reputation.

i fucking cheered seeing that the mario galaxy one was done 100% by humans. i should have been cheering that there was an amazing amount of talent that gone into it but i was instead cheering because it finally wasn't some shit regurgitated out of the torment machine.

the emulation + decomp/recomp + frontend scene lately has made me so miserable man. i'm gonna be soooooo happy (sarcastic) when the thing i've been working on since December 2025 (Croissant) and making sure remains 100% human-made finally comes out and gets an instant "nostalgiaslop" label
