somehow, some way, today I am one year sober from alcohol and as I tend to do with hard things in my life, I wrote about it. while I was writing this, I felt ashamed but when I read it back I was really proud of myself for doing the hard thing. it’s long but it would mean a lot to me if you read it

this was waiting for me when I got home yesterday which seemed fitting. I hung it in the office which is kind of weird but that’s the room he stayed in when he was here and it’s the place I will put eyes on him the most right by my monitor
