Also I don't think he even knows what he's talking about. "Every step logically implies the next" is not true, if he means anything by it other than "the premises jointly entail the conclusion."

The arrested development part of his comment is the part that hits the mark. These guys are a bunch of childish dorks. Religiosity is a refusal to grow up in an existential sense and accept that nobody is in charge and the universe doesn't care what happens to you.

That response from theists is kind of like how when women are talking about harassment, some men will be like "what are you talking about, *I* don't harass women." Yeah great, they're not talking about you in particular, they're talking about the social phenomenon, lol.
