Two possibilities 1) the film looks compatible with the "vibe" from the recent example of the franchise, "Street Fighter 6", in a way that the He-Man film *didn't* look compatible with the vibe of the Netflix cartoon or "Princesses of Power" 2) absense of Jared Leto
Show PostAlongside the FGC, I'd assume there's also cross-promotion to the pro-wrestling space. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will mean WWE will promote the film and Hirooki Goto may draw fans of New Japan Rhodes in his first major film role may especially be a draw, as he's generally pretty good at mic work
Show PostThey did have a short lived CGI He-Man series for kids but it’s Netflix, they don’t promote anything so it died after 2 or 3 seasons
