Uh, so.... I vibe-coded an entire replacement for ChemDraw that works with AI agents. It was about 8 months of work, and the goal is just open-source-stop-dependeing-on-american-paywalled-software. It has a plugin API, it comes with claude/codex skill docs check it out: jgassens.github.io/ChemDraft/

A bit surprised by the Kagan/Soai Nobel Prize. Definitely a missed opportunity for Donna Blackmond to be recognised for her outstanding work on understanding the physical organic chemistry and mathematical detail of these processes. What could it possibly be about HER that meant SHE got overlooked?
