This is the way. ❤️ If only adopters were just as honest (“yes I’ll try training”). Lying to get a dog adopted is not good for anyone, most of all the dog. If there is something challenging about the dog, that dog is still going to be adopted by someone who doesn’t mind or is willing to do work.

She isn’t even that clingy once she feels secure but I agree, I love that the rescue I foster for is really honest about what each dog needs. There’s no pressure to just “get them adopted”
