One problem is, to this crowd, nominating a woman of color is definitionally peak woke, while nominating a white man is not. Same illogic that heard Trump go "she's not really black!," heard Harris scoff "next question" and refuse to engage on it, and then said she did too much identity politics.

Yes. Authoritarians lie & cover up the truth. And most U.S. media support them. Most media/SMedia consumed in U.S. are Right Wing. Sinclair alone covers 40% of households. RW media keep repeating pretty lies about T/GOP & ugly lies about Dem/minorities til the lies wear a groove into ppl's brains.
