Have stopped messaging a couple of mates because they type one or two words then press enter, so would suddenly get fiften messages in a row for something that could be one. Can't be dealing with that stress.

I recently matched with a lady on a dating app over our shared love of cinema, so you can imagine my horror when she invited me over and I found she was watching a film on the TV with that awful motion smoothing effect on. I made my excuses.

I've started deliberately waiting exactly an hour to reply to any messages I receive. If anyone spots the exact hour difference between the timestamps on their message and mine I let them in on it and start replying normally again.
