With today being Batman's in-universe birthday, and seeing more grumbling about him, thought I'd list again what I feel are his main flaws (at his worst) in modern stories: he's unlikable; the stories/setting are bleak if not outright nihilistic; and possibly some elements becoming dated?

I saw her comment. I refuse to engage with people who are hurt and looking at attack. They NEED to go heal I don’t see anything she’s posting nor do I want to.
