YES. And it so obviously opens the door to victim blaming. “It’s not his fault because there wasn’t a chair” will so quickly turn into “it’s her fault for not using the chair.”

This actually is making me incandescently angry , because what they seem to miss is that a lot of this isn’t actually communal strategy It’s just teaching predators to go for the victims who signal they know the least
