By 2020 I had retired but seeing it all I wished I could Have done something. I had let my license lapse but would have done clinics or anything like that. I can understand nurses leaving and it’s sad. We were and are the faces patients see most

Same for me with my mom. Sending you a gigantic hug of understanding. 🫂 I moved eventually to Chicago in 2023. I had to make a change. But so many of my colleagues left the profession.

My husband didn’t know me then and said he wishes he could’ve been there for me. But glad he wasn’t. Constant fear of bringing it home to our families.
