Early autumn at the foot of Mt. Hiei 🍁 In Yase, on Kyoto’s quiet northern edge, the maples are still mostly green, with the first hints of orange. Before the autumn colours reach their peak, the peaceful stream, the old station and the Eizan train offer a glimpse of a quieter side of Kyoto.
