Using them with a press would be a new concept to me! I do mine with a hammer on top of a little piece of scrap plywood.
Show PostYeah, the heavier leather is insane to try to sew through. It makes more sense when you remember that leather treated in the right way will stop a sword or some low velocity lead bullets dead in their tracks. Were you able to finish with something like a rake punch and a hammer?
