The relief at the news no MPS schools will be closing next year is still sinking in. Happy for MPS because I think it was a detrimental path. Happy for everyone who would have been affected by the closings. Happy for my family because my kid can stay at his beloved school for his senior year.

Organizing works! Next up: 1) tweak MN’s formula for per pupil funding and do better with decline enrollment support 2) change the concentrated poverty aid calculation. Both would help districts statewide and would do WONDERS for the MPS budget
