My wife and I got up our first morning there and ran from our hotel (near Gare de Lyon) - down Diderot, across Pont d-Austerlitz, up the Left Bank past Shakespeare and Company, and finished at the Point Zero marker. I got really pumped and did the last half mile in 3:15, personal best.

Last week I was thinking about that, and that I really need to add fitness now that I've taken the GLPs this far. And I was like, yes. I want to chase that feeling.

The last time I ran regularly was 2018-2019. The high point was an early morning (~5 am) run on a vacation in Paris. I'd dropped my weight to about 220 (30 heavier than I am now) and had been doing functional training long enough to have good endurance.

Just started running using a none to run app. Really glad I started with slow pace and mostly walk intervals. But also glad I started again.
