I would only consider it if it gets full disaster re: Darnold. But on the list of preferred options in that scenario, I don’t expect Chambliss to be my #1 or 2. Partly because I don’t know if I’d pick him with a top-18 pick.

I hesitate on considering it in the first but I am also harsh on QB evaluations and where I’d take them. Franchises kill themselves investing day-1 value into bad QBs. League also seems undecided. See Mestermaker, Carr and Mannings name in scout reports but his? Sometimes, sometimes not.

He is a confusing one to me because I am anti-short/old QB (and he’s likely coming in at 5’11’’ in February, 24.5y) But the arm is live. He can maneuver in the pocket. This also isn’t the Kiffin scheme we’ve known, and it wasn’t last year. He’s much more involved over the MOF than other Kiffin QBs
