Hotel, showered, perfumed, robed, watching The Office on cable (a luxury for someone who hasn't had cable for 10 years!). I had to tear myself away from cocktails and shenanigans bc I'm leaving tomorrow. I wish I had had more time here!

Recently remembered I used to go to a media luvvies meet-up circa Y2K called SWS (Social, Welsh & Sexy). Sian Lloyd was always there. When I told my friends this the other week, they couldn't stop laughing. Not sure why I stopped. Possibly thrown out for not being sexy. (I'm definitely not social.)

Old Biffa Biggins getting his arse in his hands the night before last. The neighbour brought their kids to see them and they were fascinated and stood quietly for ages filming them. You forget when you see them every night how amazing the little glade has become.

Having just handed in my book edits for THE GHOSTS OF CHALK COUNTRY, had a lovely afternoon off today seeing the sublime art exhibition ‘Eric Ravilious & the artists of the Chalk Downs’, on now in Bath. Glaucous greens galore. Thanks @casparhenderson.bsky.social for flagging it!
