In another spot near Mos Espa lies the set of the Ksar Hadada courtyard re-creation where Anakin works on his pod / Jar Jar gets zapped. It has since been buried by sand. They periodically have to sweep the sand from burying the main set (and the road to it!)
Show PostIt is crazy that it still exists and you can just go up and visit it in the dunes. In surrounding little salt flats are a bunch of other film sites - where they shot the podrace starting grid, and where the queen's starship landed.
