Why oh why has every office I have had in my 31 years of librarianing been so damn cold? RIP space heater. I salute your dead motor for years of service prior to burnout. I thank past Laura for keeping late Dad’s massive wool sweater + a blanket + gloves on site. Bad HVAC in libraries is bullshit.

Because. It's still my 20th legal wedding anniversary even though I've been widowed for 14 years. Milagros "Milly" Valdes was my heart. I've had partners since. My current partner is great but returning to Canada wasn't the life I wanted. One's life never is, is it though.
