The totals are so lopsided as to make the quote-post's question absurd: you can attribute responsibility to Allied cruelty and callousness in WWII to the allies and still end up in a situation upwards of 85% of all civilian deaths were caused by the Axis and a slim majority of those by Hitler.

Show PostIt is possible - easy, even - to argue that the wars of the GWoT (especially the Iraq War) were foolish mistakes that damaged both regional stability and our strategic position without pretending that when the Taliban assassinates a village leader's family, that's the same as the US doing it.
