So many supposed Democratic 'messaging' problems are actually media control problems. People 'experience' most events through media coverage, and the Democratic establishment need to figure that out, yesterday. (This is also a reason why letting the Ellison merger go through was so awful).

It makes people either a) too complacent politically if something happens they agree with or b) too demoralized to continue to fight if something happens they disagree with. Law can always be changed.
