bring them into more contact with nonwhite people. The more they meet them, the more they can learn other people are just human beings too. Or use a brick to the head

It begins with parents. Have a diverse friend group yourself. Make sure your kid has a diverse pre-school. Kids don't remember learning attitudes & opinions they were taught before about age 4. It is very hard to unteach what was learned in infancy because you think that is just how things are.

We have to do the work of getting them to understand that racism/white supremacy & prejudice are not the same thing. That's the hardest thing to get white people to understand. Racism is systemic, and we automatically benefit from it till we dismantle it. Prejudice is feelings, and can be unlearned.
