No one thinks that. Trump caved to a dictator and has shown the USA to be weak but then again Trump works for himself, Putin and Russia's interests before the USA and everday Americans.

The USA have had it good for years. Full access to much of the world and without much competition. Europe should now apply USA-style protectionism (see Tic-Toc) and replace all US tech. It will take time, but it’s essential we aren’t dependent on backstabbers.

There was never any bashing of USA by Europeans, rather the opposite. Only now, when this USA regime started using trade, technology as a weapon and threatening state integrity against its allies, we begin to see some carefully formulated criticism.
