A friend works on a mag that is still successful now, and every 6 months he has a meeting where a group of execs all on £150k plus tell him that he needs to cut the editorial budget or lose a staff member. It sells more copies than ever but needs to clear enough money to keep them in their jobs.

Because nobody reads captions on Instagram any more, one of the consequences of posting this there, with the same caption, is that people are now talking to me like I not only made the map (I didn't) but am Minister For Woodlice, hence the person to address all their woodlice-based complaints to.
