There is an additional sadistic side to this that I don't tend to see nearly enough attention on - more so from the non-creative crowds, as the profiteers are the easy go-to punching bag for it who get most of the focus. Ill try and characterise it best I can as follows:

"leaning into the autism affect" is grammatically correct and means that he thinks musk is cynically playing in to people's stereotypes about autism for his own benefit, mainly because he thinks people will think he's a genius and excuse his lack of tact, hope this helps
