Not sure who needs to hear this, but not everything is a competition about who is righter, or cleverer. It's ok to be wrong, or incredibly dim sometimes. It's ok to do a typo. Or not know. Relax into it. It's weirdly life-affirming to just not give that much of a shit if people are impressed by you.

IMHO, Obama took the lesson from the Civil Rights Movement that BIPOC folks always needed to be our best selves to make change happen - that if we are normal while racists show their whole fucking ass at all times, Middle America will realize racists are stupid
