Strangers' concerns have stopped trans people being able to access appropriate services. Family concerns are being used to stop trans people accessing healthcare and surgery. We're just not people in the UK.

This is abhorrent. Family members should NEVER be involved in this. At all. It really wouldn’t be accepted in most other cases. Yet again, the concerns of transphobes are listened to while the trans people happy with and wanting this essential care are not.

Shutting down NHS trans healthcare because of meddling "family concerns" is no different to slapping DNR's on disabled people during Covid or hanging people because of a rumour spread by the village gossip.
