What a day! Rufous-tailed Robin showed briefly but well at South Landing early, then Radde's Warbler with Firecrest, Yellow-browed Warblers and Bramblings at Thornwick. Then a stunning Isabelline Wheatear and Red-tailed/Isabelline Shrike completed the lineup. #ukbirding #birds #BirdsSeenIn2026

My decision to base myself on the east coast this week paid off big-time when Flamborough produced a Rufous-tailed Robin. Fast drive from Spurn and a brief view of a tough-to-see mega ensued. The confiding Kilnsea Bluethroat (below) showed so much better this morning! Pic: Pete Sutton #ukbirding
