Crazy to think that I started learning and doing 3D & VFX 20 years ago, not realising id make it my career. Over that time ive used AutoCAD, ParticleIllusion, Maya, Realflow, Lightwave, After Effects, Nuke, 3ds Max, Softimage, Modo, Mari, Substance, Katana, Houdini, Unreal among countless others.

Had a job interview today. I think it went well although with slightly less than 3 years experience with Unreal Engine and very little UE5 I'm not sure I'll get it... Also thanks to the heat i didn't realise my t-shirt was on inside out... So that's how my brain was doing. I'm sure it'll be fine

Made some progress on the water simulation for my relaxing sandbox game 🌳🏡Island Architect🏡🌳 I added some proper shading finally, and performance is much better, with a priority system for what to update each frame. In the video you can see how it reacts to terrain edits. #gamedev #indiegame
