Ya know, the operating funds referendums for Washington township aren’t actually going to raises- they cover paying current teachers, teachers aides, staff, bus drivers, lunch workers, etc. NCHS feeds 4000+ people 2 meals a day 180 days a year.

This is good Jesse. As a Washington township resident I want to mention OUR referendum on the Nov ballot and encourage a YES vote-this one is for OPERATING FUNDS. But I remain a ROCKET4LIFE BRHS class of ‘87 & furious about the destruction of IPS in general.

I'm fine with high schools. My taxes have gone up about 20% per year since I bought my house 10 years ago, and i voted for the previous referendums. Now they claim to need to raise them another 15ish percent to share with the charter schools. Meh.
