A caller rang LBC y’day to argue that points about Shamima Begum being a child when she was groomed into a terrorist group are moot because ‘girls mature faster than boys so a 15 yr old girl is like an 18 yr old man’. I’m still thinking about how terrifying the implications of that viewpoint are.
