I LOVE when a sex scene includes awkwardness. I think it's very romantic when characters have to work together to navigate intimacy! Figuring out what works for them together. It's good stuff!

A query letter issue I've repeatedly seen lately is the plot summary reading like this: "X happened. Then Y happened. Then Z happened." Instead, it should read: "BECAUSE X happened, Y happened. BECAUSE Y happened, Z happened." Show how the events in your novel are connected. #Querying #WritingTip
