all this does is further cement the PTSD belief that what happened to me will forever mark me as an outsider in the world, that my own lived experience can corrupt someone if they hear me speak about it. i can’t even make art about it without being punished MORE SEVERELY than my abusers were!!!

i’m sick of this attitude that sexual violence is so otherworldly and evil that it can’t be spoken of or written about in any capacity. what the fuck are actual living survivors expected to do. do they think this makes us feel safer and heard lmao. you make me feel like an alien.
