love how after working on mega man 1 and 2 kitamura's dilemma upon fully directing a nes game was like "fuuuuuck what do i do" and the answer was just make mega man again but in the most fucked up possible way through cocoron

i think it's unfortunate that i find classic mega man to be one of the most creative dead-ends when it comes to 2d action games. cause this game is sort of not doing anything for me, as strange as it is. it's really trying to be unique but i fear it's a very existent game to me

truly do enjoy how this game just genuinely does not give a singular fuck about it's comical levels of artstyle clash. it's almost respectable. but i suppose it's fitting for the dream setting
