Thank you @BMA.org.uk for a great roundtable on NHS workforce at #LPC26 Of the 49k dentists we have in the UK barely 1/2 do any NHS work & fewer each day. Fixing the reason why dentists can’t see their futures in the NHS must be at the core of the dental workforce strategy @thebda.bsky.social

Great to catch up with Ben Coleman MP @chelfulhamben.bsky.social Your Committee’s @commonshealth.parliament.uk report remains the blueprint for the necessary reform of NHS dentistry. We cannot allow this process kicked into the long grass for millions who need the care. @thebda.bsky.social

Dr @PeterPrinsleymp.bsky.social is spot on - we can’t improve access to NHS dentistry unless we reform the dental contract to make the NHS a place dentists want to work in. Thank you for your ongoing support as we fight to make NHS dentistry a universal service again. @thebda.bsky.social #LPC26

Thanks @LewisAtkinson.bsky.social MP for an important conversation about how we make access to NHS dentistry a higher political priority. With millions facing the choice of paying privately or going without, dental access crisis is not just a healthcare issue, but a cost of living one too.

Pleasure to speak to @kimleadbeatermp.bsky.social about the ongoing issues with access to NHS dentistry. With more dentists forced out of the NHS every day, ending this crisis will take urgency and ambition. #LPC26 @thebda.bsky.social
