I'm telling y'all. Authoritarian parenting primed our entire society for authoritarianism. Want to find a way out of this? Respect kids. Stop denying them full human rights. Honor their bodily autonomy and humanity. Punishment and coercion don't work. Non-authoritarian parenting IS resistance.
