As someone who nearly died 20 years ago, trying to reframe things like colonoscopy prep as something I GET to do because I've SURVIVED LONG ENOUGH to hit screening milestone. Reframing "getting older" milestones as badges of pride instead of negatives. "Lived long enough to go through menopause!"etc

She really wasn't! One day. It ended up being a dangerous delivery for my wife, but our daughter was totally fine. Our understanding, from what the doctor explained, is it was more for critical care for my wife.
