Another typo from the booklet "Many A Slip" which was produced for the NOC and sold for 75p in 1980, with proceeds going to the League of Friends of the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. Here's a couple of old photos of The Horton General Hospital in Banbury. The hospital was built with money left by Mary Ann Horton, a local heiress, and had only two wards and a total of 12 beds when it opened as Horton Infirmary in 1872. @ouhospitals.bsky.social @medsci.ox.ac.uk
