Nazis got what they wanted. Dig up some dirt on socialism and let the rest fall. Obviously the incident is true and disheartening, but it's beyond fucked that this is yet another far right tactic to attack socialism as a whole.

It's not up to you to forgive anyone, because you weren't wronged. If you believe in rehabilitation, but still won't engage with someone as punishment, then you don't believe in rehabilitation. If you are merely uncomfortable, that is also fine, but don't frame it someone not "deserving forgiveness"

He admitted guilt, turned himself in, and was punished. You seem to want him to be continuously punished for the rest of his life. That voids any possibility of redemption or reform.
