Show Post013 is an old favourite revisited: estimating π by dropping sticks on a ruled floor. Same experiment, Buffon's needle from 1777, but now a GPU does the dropping: up to 100 million needles a second. Nothing about circles goes in, and π comes out. ogden.eu/webgpu-buff...
