I’d expect an update later today on the #nufc transfer front. Club have two teams out in Europe working on two sep deals today. Hopkinson flew out early this morning. Fernandez-Pardo and BEK both being pushed, the former more progressed - around £5m - £10m gap in valuation.

As of 8pm this evening #nufc are saying fee not fully agreed, even after Fab’s here we go. Though expectation is it gets done quickly.

Things now pretty much in place, fee even lower than expected amount as well (£50m) according to Fab Romano. UNBELIEVABLE coup. Proper squad building. Biggest signing since Tonali. #nufc

However, they are genuinely still hopeful, as am I. If we’re being real he’s had a fantastic WC and he probably half expected a CL club to come in for him, which hasn’t happened yet. Fingers crossed it gets sorted next week, but if it goes on longer than that, I’d be very worried.

Also, for people arguing he genuinely didn’t want distraction from WC, he could’ve still signed a pre-agreement and delayed doing his medical.
