I’m sure that Farha’s analysis is more sophisticated than just that (I have yet to read/listen to her Massey Lectures). But a lot of left wing objections to housing come down to that diagnosis plus a politically unrealistic dream of massive public housing construction à la post war Europe.

This tweet has been getting a lot of attention up here. Now understand I live in province that never boycotted trade and I am not sure if the Senator knows how alcohol trade works up here. But our province continued to buy US wine. We residents respectfully stopped buying it.
