@craigrussellhorne.bsky.socialDay 190 Nala Sinephro - The Smashing Machine It feels weird and wrong to love a film score to this degree when I've not seen the film, but this is unbelievably good stuff. Large, wide, spacious ambient sounds and distant, otherworldly sax melt together and produce a hard to describe feeling. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Show PostDay 219 Gwenifer Raymond - Last Night I Heard The Dog Star Bark Anyone who's ever picked up a guitar should listen to this album, I was absolutely floored by what she gets out of an acoustic guitar on this record. Unbridled energy, fantastic use of discordance, top tier musicianship ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Show PostDay 223 Shpongle - Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost I don't think an electronic album has ever captivated me the way this did for the full run time. Impossible to guess what it'll do next, sounds timeless, held me in a trance. A work of both art and genius. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Show PostBest song I've heard in the whole thing has to be, without question, Days Like These by Low. It has stuck with me since the moment I heard it, insanely great music. www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8Qi...
Show PostIf I were to pick my 4 favourites of the project so far, it'd be (in no particular order); Willi Carlisle - Critterland Masayoshi Takanaka - Seychelles Keith Jarrett - The Köln Concert Iglooghost - Tidal Memory Exo If I can convince anyone of anything, it would be listen to one of these 4.
