The US economy is about 12 times larger than the Russian economy and per capita output is six times larger. CA, NY and TX surpass Russian output. It's a minor economic country. But Trump only wants to match the scale of theft and dictatorial, oligarchic rule of Putin, the people be damned.

Understand that nothing that Trump has done in his second term could have been done without his Republican Party enablers in Congress who either actively helped or refused to intervene. The Iran War. The Tariffs. Betraying Ukraine. The corruption. ICE gunning people down on the streets.
