I worked at a social media company that focused on sharing photographs. I needed to be a team player but had no desire to document my life for their profit. So I posted the same picture of a neighbour's tree leaking slime every day to get the mandatory product usage stats.

Aged 12 I visited Downing Street for a school trip. PM wasn't there, avoiding duties as usual. We got a tour of the house. Halfway, I needed a shit, so snuck off & found a toilet. When done security were waiting for me outside. Apparently I'd shat in the PM's personal toilet.

In June, me and my wife cajoled our teenagers to go to the seaside on holiday, as we had for so many years. On the last day, in the sunshine, I stood on a sand dune with the picnic and looked down at them making sandcastles. I knew it was the last time and cried my eyes out.

Even though our first two dates went well, I decided against a third date and we parted ways. Because on the second date his tattoo was more visible, so I could notice that it had a typo in it. I just couldn't see him after noticing that, the typo would constantly piss me off.
