Study: avoidable mortality increased in all US states btwn 2009 & 2021, primarily due to increases in preventable deaths, but decreased in comparable high-income nations. Health spending was sig. negatively associated w/ avoidable mortality for other high-income countries, not across US states. 🛟😷
