If they did, it might have bias their results in other ways. People who would be turned off by the poison because of their inclinations would get undercounted. It does make me wonder if the construction of the poll leads to some pro-Frey bias. Haven't seen the full text, so can't really say for sure

7/ The lesson of this slide is not that some challenger is better than Fateh, at least not yet. It’s that there aren’t enough anti-Frey votes (according to this poll). Turner is a 2021 Republican running an “independent” this time. Except on margins, those aren’t Davis votes (maybe more so Jazz?).

2/ So some usual caveats: All of Mpls poll is 3 weeks old, so before the endorsement reversal. It sampled 600 people so there’s a built in 4 point margin of sampling error, which could be higher given survey bias, response rates differing among actual voter types. I’m not doing wards today btw.
