I received my Zan Times newsletter today and was gobsmacked to discover their aim is to reach 250 monthly supporters. 250... This initiative gives Afghan women, now largely ignored by the world, a voice. Surely this is absolutely the very least we can do #FreeAfghanWomen #Afghanistan #HumanRights

I am German and was shocked too. In the 80s, Cheryl Benard's book 'The Limits of Gender. A Guide to the Downfall of the International Patriarchy' was among those I lent the most. I was shocked when I recognised her as Khalilzad's wife years ago and even more now. What a corrupting behavior!
